YES, I have been reading all the threads I can find on ALL the triumph forums (Rat, Talk, Triumphs own)
This is a infuriating glitch. The only good thing is that it seems that Triumph had the sense to use a a common fuel pump and level sender.
My tank had over half a tank. It lit up, then showed 5 miles left, ran down to 0. I was like OK, lets get some miles on it to re-set. 100+ miles later its still not showing. I did reset the trip meter as a reference. Just like I always do on my America. (its all you got LOL)
So after reading all this stuff. I am at the point of "DO I EVEN MESS WITH IT?" Just reset the trip meter each time. On the conservative side I would say about 38 mpg no matter how I have ridden last year. So 228 out of tank. Look for gas at 200 miles (most my friends have smaller tanks anyway).
I will adjust from there.
Any new thoughts on this subject?

That is exactly what I am planning. Just have not gotten to it yet.
I have some good cleaner that I use in my guitar amps. (DeoxIT D5) and a soft tooth brush. I picked up the dielectric grease pack at auto store.
